My client is looking for a well experienced Product Engineering Project Manager that must have end to end experience from design to distribution, based local to Yateley that can be in the office on the project demand, sometimes this may be up to 5 days a week.
Relocation is not an option.Salary is up to £65k based on experiencePrince 2 is preferred
Deliver custom development Projects on time, on budget and tospecification ensuring Projects are properly planned, resourced andexecuted in line with internal processes.Assist with proposals and project justification by gathering andreviewing preliminary information for the development collected fromvarious internal and external stakeholders such as customers, GBMsand Engineers.Create and implement a Project Management Plan identifying projectscope, tasks, milestones, deliverables, budget, stakeholders, risks andany other key information needed to deliver the project successfully.Construct and maintain a project schedule using an appropriate WBS,with milestones and review points clearly identified. Ensure all tasksare completed and track project progress against the baseline.
Monitor costs against the agreed budget, calculating CTC and raisingany deviations with management in a timely manner. Regularly reportspend and other KPIs in line with company processes.Ensure that comprehensive project requirements are produced,reviewed and confirmed by stakeholders, using expert resourcesacross the company where appropriate. Demonstrate that allrequirements have been appropriately verified and the performanceand characteristics of the system have been fully documented.Manage project related risks by identifying, documenting, assessingand mitigating them where possible, raising them to seniormanagement where appropriate.Lead and participate in internal and external gateway reviews, ensuringthat all actions are recorded and completed in a timely manner.Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with internal andexternal customer standards and procedures.Ensure Customer specific Project documentation is delivered includingmanuals, manufacturing record books, interface specifications,handling/storage procedures and test & inspection plans.Deliver timely and thorough targeted communication to all those witha direct and indirect interest including internal and externalstakeholders.Undertake project closeout reviews to gather lessons learned that canbe fed back into improvements in processes and procedures.
